Hi. Both my beloved cats were diagnosed with CKD within a month of each other. They are both rescue cats, although to be honest, they've rescued me - I don't know how I'll cope without them. Both had grade 2 heart murmurs when i adopted them, so i assumed I'd lose them to that.
I've seen a lot of lab results posted, but many of the don't seem too bad - maybe early stage CKD? I'm curious to know what the highest creatinine levels are.
Bluebell got ill relatively suddenly, and her levels were the highest levels the vet had ever seen. She was fine with the spot test done a month earlier. She also has high blood sugar (pre-diabetic), so I wonder if that diluted her blood chemistry until she crashed? They are both indoor cats, so no chance of being poisoned.
