Hi everyone! I am a senior in college (six and a half years!) for special and elementary ed. I am hoomom to one dachshund and two cats. I can already see I am going to be addicted to this forum as I am in the dachshund forum I have been a member at for a long time!
I had cats when I was little, but when I got my own place the first pet I got was a dog, Beau, my dachshund.
About a year later, I fell in love with a cat at the SPCA. She was five months at the time, she is now about 9 months. She is a lover, but she is constantly being chased by the dog, so she is a little snooty! Her name is Hollie. Appropriately nicknamed Miss Hollie.
A few days ago, I fell in love again. An orange kitten, they think about three months, was amidst hundreds of cats at another shelter. He was so cuddly and loving, I couldn't put him down. We had the goal of giving a new home to an older cat, but when you love a cat you love him, and that's how we got Crosby.
Now, I only wish I was searching for cat forums on a better note! Crosby seems to have some sort of infection. Looks like we aren't going to hold out the three weeks until his next set of shots. I'll be calling the vet in the morning. Until then, I am going to post to ask if anyone knows what this might be. Wish us luck!
Here are some pics of my crew!
