My cat Dusty is about 13 years old. She's very tiny (About 6 lbs), a petite little thing and part persian or one of those fluffy, long-haired type cats.
I recently took her in from a friend who didn't want her anymore, back in October. Since then I have noticed her face 'twitches' and her head sort of twitches, too (eyes, mouth twitches alot) especially when she's at rest. She is a lap-cat and loves to be right up on ya, and when she's doing her loving thing and then rests near your face, it is really noticeable!!!
I net-searched but couldn't find a thing about a cat with a twitching face.
Has anyone else had a cat (older or younger cat) who had an odd twitch? Is this something like Parkinson's in cats or something? I have 3 other cats her age and they do not have this twitch.
Other than that twitch, Dusty is just fine, very healthy and brighty-eyed, eating well and looks lovely.
Thanks for any experience y'all might have...
