I know this is 3 years ago but like how is the cat doing? And did you check for hyperthryoidism? They did the same to my cat. The vet didn't know what was going on because the blood work drawn was to show more of her body from the neck down but she thought it was the heart but was unsure since she's not like a specialist on the heart. So the radiologist said her heart was fine. So the vet said she can't come up with anything except the thyroid. So another blood work was done for her thyroid. Turns out her level was very high and she was on methimazole(Tapazole) in liquid form so it's easier to administer. You can do it by pill or rub it on their ear too. I usually put it in a small amount of wet food she likes and make sure it goes down first before she eats more and if that don't work I syringe her and make sure it touches her side cheeks because it absorbs within the skin. It helped her from vomiting, peeing a lot and getting hungry so much. My cat use to do the same throw up a lot and I figured it was like hairball or ate too fast but it was hyperthryoidism. I hope you still have the cat still.

Reply to:Sorry I've been gone so long.

Pooh has just been to the vet and she couldn't find anything physically wrong with her. I bought a thing you put in the bowl to slow down their eating and we're going to do some diet changes. I'll let you know how thing go. Thanks for all the advice.[/QUOTE]
