Hi all,

I found myself in a dilemma. We have been trying to rescue a bunch of cars that are strays in my town. There is one that would come to our store door and meow and want to be pet.

I finally took the lunge and grabbed her by the scruff which she was completely cool with but soon as she saw the cage.. she did her cat thing and got away and ran to the back of the store. Now she is on top of the shelf and won't come down. She hisses if we come near her. I'll attach a photo.

Just wondering if you have any tips or tricks. We set out food and water hoping she will eventually come down on her own. She's been up there for hours now. (About 8) and has not moved and inch.

Is it just a waiting game at this point?

If you have any tips or tricks that would be great.

And what are your thoughts on live traps?

Thanks in advance!

It looks like she can get down by herself easily enough, she's just waiting for the coast to clear. Humane traps are an absolute godsend when trying to handle feral or skittish cats. I've TNR'd two colonies using them. Yes, I recommend you use one to trap the remaining cats
