Poor Trout! She thought she hit the jackpot, only to get stuck in it for 12 hours! I bet she'd do it all over again, though.

I almost did something similar to my girl Mia, except with my laundry area. I don't have a laundry room, just a small area big enough for a washer/dryer + 6 inches on the ends, with folding doors to shut it. I had just done a load of laundry before work and was folding the clothes and shut the doors. I went in the bathroom to brush my teeth before leaving and was on my way out when I saw my other cat Marble sticking her feet under the laundry doors. How odd I thought...so I opened the doors and Mia was in there! Like Trout, she would have been there for a reallllly long time with really no wiggle room whatsoever! I was so glad I found her before I left. I'm glad your wedding dress is still intact!
