I was trying to find out information about this product, as I know brushing can be difficult, but couldn't find a whole lot. Mainly it was just questions about an ingredient, rather than somebody that knew for sure. Any opinions?
Either the gel or the foam. I'm not a big fan of the water additive for dogs, and figure it would be worse for cats because they don't drink much water anyway.Which Tropiclean product are you referring to? There are a few different ones.
Thanks.I haven't used it yet but we do sell it at work. We've had TONS of positive feed back, especially on the water additive, from both cat and dog owners. For the water additive, you have to use it in a regular bowl and not a fountain, which is why I haven't tried it yet. A fountain will filter the additive out.
The gel has been really popular for cats, the foam less so. I haven't tried either of those yet either, none of my pets (dogs aged 8 and 4, cats aged 2 and 6 months) have any dental problems, plaque or build up.
Another really popular one, for people that can't or don't want to use a water additive/gel/foam/paste, is Wysong's Dentatreat. It's a food supplement, I'm not sure how it works or what the ingredients are off hand, but we've had a lot of really positive reviews of it as well.
