My nana made the one we used years ago when I was a kid -- it was red with green trees, yellow stars, multicoloured stockings and other Christmas staples on it. I'm not sure what happened to it, but one year it was replaced with a store-bought green one that has a pattern of tiny Christmas trees on it. I miss the old one and hope my mom just put it in storage, because when I one day have a Christmas tree, I'd like to use the skirt from my childhood.

I love my tree skirt. It's dark red and made with different fabrics like velvet and taffeta and oh just pretty! It's got some gold embroidery and things. Took me forever to find one!
