I need to know what the best dry food brands are so I can try to find them for my babies. They are not taking well to the adult Nutro Natural Choice cat food. Which I find wierd since they did well on the Nutro Natural Choice kitten.
Natural Balance is better than Royal Canin. Try the Natural Balance first and if your cats don't agree with it, try Royal Canin afterwards.Originally Posted by Charcoal
They don't sell either here in Korea. They do have royal canon and something called Natural Balance, Nutro, Iams and Science Diet. That's it. Out of these choices, I am leaning towards the Royal Canon.
two of those are great one has thing s that I wont feed .... But the ?? asked was relateing to the area of the world she is in... try answering thatOriginally Posted by vanillasugar
First choice for a dry cat food for me is Innova EVO, it's grain free and closest to the natural diet of a carnivore in a kibble form, but some have found it's too rich for their cats.
My second choice is Felidae because it has a high percentage of meat protein and an impressive ingredients list.
Third choice is probably Katz n' Flocken by Solid Gold. GREAT company and a very good kibble. But I have a lot of foods that tie for third place. Innova, (not evo, the regular), Go! Natural, Natural Balance, the list goes on and on
My mistake! I didn't see anything pertaining to location in the original post, and it seems I read the replies too quickly.Originally Posted by sharky

RC is superior to Science Diet and Iams, IMO, but not as good as Natural Balance. Could you try both, meaning alternate? The reason I ask is that I've found that the imported foods aren't always available (I'm having that problem with Natural Balance and Serengeti here right now), so it's best to have one or two alternatives. Also a lot of cats just get sick of a brand, and want something different for a while.Originally Posted by Charcoal

Try your local farm feed store, most of them can order at least the Nutro products.Originally Posted by alliecallie
I live in a rural area, and the "big city" (50,000 is large in Kansas!) doesn't seem to carry any of the foods you have mentioned and never see anything other than Science Diet. Thanks for any info--I thought if there were reasons to steer clear of Science Diet it might help both the lady in Korea, and me. I appreciate all your contributions to this forum. Thank you, Alliecallie.
Of those I would do natural choice then royal canin and I wont due wellness till they take out the garlic..Originally Posted by sophiacat
I am feeding my 8 month old siamese kitten science diet kitten food right now, but I have been wondering about other foods I don't really know a lot about cat food but I just assumed that sience diet was a premium good quality food for my cat. The pet store in my town offers wellness, natural choice, and royal canin. What do you all think would be my best choice from those selections?? Thanks!! I just want the best quality foos I can give my little baby girl!!
