I'm afraid there's something very wrong with Top Cat. He has been acting very odd this weekend. Just a couple of days ago, he was running around in my room very erractically. Yes, I know cats have a case of the crazies - I'm actually used to them running around in circles on pretty much a daily basis - but this time was different. He would dart back in forth past the point of pure exhaustion - he would run really fast for a couple of seconds, stop and pant really hard, then run again. While panting, he had this crazed look on his face (not sure how to describe it accurately).
Then tonight, a few minutes before I posted this, he started acting strange again. He started crying this meow that I never heard from him before and he was sitting there looking strangely at Luna, holding up his arm at times as if he wanted to attack her. Luna was looking at him funny in return. Finally, he swatted her one. Play aggression is nothing new for him - he's always annoyed her since he was a kitten, but this was different - it was real aggression. He never has been the aggressor before, only Luna (she has sort of a top cat position).
I may ending giving his vet a call this week, especially if he acts strange again. It's just that this weekend I have been having my own unusual symptoms (migrane like stuff - never had a migrane before in my life until the past few weeks and this weekend compounded by a lot of dizziness lately) and I have to worry about getting myself to a doctor - soon. This episode with TC is so out of character for him, so much that I am worried that he is losing his mind.
