Too bad no Houston people took advantage of our available room. I went to the wine store yesterday and got a bottle of the cheapest white I could find, $4.99. Dottie's in the kitchen grating up the Emmentaler and Gruyere, and we're going to have fondue.

Failing that, we could have gone up to the north side, shanghaied Lee and his lovely bride, and gone somewhere good to eat. Maybe a Persian restaurant?
