So far Tony is going great. If you remember, he had a very serious auto immune disease in April that very nearly took his life. But thanks to our dedicated vet and the right antibiotics he bounced back. Then he developed a UTI that caused bleeding. Tests showed it was a bacterial infection that seems to have cleared. No more bleeding for the last 6 days or so. We now call him our born again Tony. And the new Tony has become super super affectionate. I really think he is trying to thank us for taking such good care of him. He is just such a special little guy - 14 years old - and not a mean bone in his body. He is always tormented by his kitty sisters, who take advantage of his good nature, but Tony just tolerates it and I think he loves it. He could never survive without other kitties around him. I am so blessed to Tony back again and hope his recovery continues for years to come. But as of now each day we have him and see him healthy is just a blessing. Here is a picture of him -- oh If forgot to mention he has a slight eye problem (right eye) - conjunctivitis. Giving him eye drops, but eye is still cloudy. I guess we can live with that. Makes him sort of distinctive!.
