Awwww....poor Wyan! Don't worry hon.....the guys in the white coats know just where to find you (and me too, I'm afraid, lol!)

But I agree with Christy about being polite to people in the service industry.....and if you ever wonder why a clerk is surly sometimes........think about the people that she has to deal with! Even I have been known to lose my cool because of a rude customer!

But on a whole....I'm not convinced about the majority of folks being polite...sorry...

I think it depends on what part of the world you're in. I just got back from New Orleans and *everybody* down there was happy, talkative, sweet and VERY polite!!! They look you in the eye, all that warm southern 'cajun' hospitality. I almost hated coming home, cuz here in Cincinnati, it's just not as warm & fuzzy as Nawlins is.

On average, I'd say yes. However it depends greatly on where I am and the situation we're in.
