I only had my tubes tied after my last birth (6 yrs ago). Its kind of fun though, to tell people I'm spayed!
I have 2 friends who have recently undergone this surgery, and they are recovering right now!

Best of luck to you!

I had a tumorectomy ONE year and then the smaller tumors came back so next year I had to have a hysterectomy. I had my uterous and cervix removed. I had such monthly pain it was like someone was sticking a double bladed knife up me. NOTHING helped!

After the hysterectomy I was up and dancing around the room within days. It hurt a bit - like sore muscles - but not bad at all.

I had this done over 20 years ago and I am willing to bet it will be a LOT easier nowdays!

Susie, I'm sorry you have to go through the surgery, but if it stops your pain it will be worth it!!

The boys and I will bring our sleeping bags and loads of chocolate. I'll have to make a trip to Marshall Fields to load up on the Frangos!
