That anime video is so incredibly sweet! It brought tears to my eyes, thinking of that poor little kitty having no home. I can take the ending one of two ways; I choose to believe it's a happy ending for the kitty (she finds a home), though I'm not sure how it's truly meant to be viewed.

As for the ending, I'm not sure if it really applies, but there's another-shorter-video elsewhere on the site showing Shii playing soccar, football, or whatever you want to call it in a Japan world cup uniform and very happy.
