Originally, he seemed to prefer Performatrin Ultra to kitten food (wet). At the Vet's urging, I switched him over to kitten food and tried Wellness Kitten formula (wet), which was a big hit; with the occasional small can of Taste of The Wild as a treat (wet); supplemented with his Royal Canin Kitten formula (dry).
As of last week he started to leave food on his plate, seemingly more interested in Sasha's Hi Tor kidney diet...
So back to the Pet Valu I went, got a few cans of Chicken Soup for The Kitten Lover's Soul; big hit at first...and then same thing: he'll leave his food to dry and only finish his plate if I make sure Sasha is isolated in the bedroom to eat!
Some say that too much variety can create finnicky eaters, is that true? Should I just stick to one canned food and the RC Kitten (dry) until he's old enough to eat adult food?
