I was just reading about ticked tabbies and everyone's curiousity about them ,they are rare, how rare,?I volunteer for a shelter locally and I have been there since 2008 and I have seen less than a dozen ticked tabbies, one ticked torbie who was beautiful. It is in Nashua and is one of the busiest in the state. Flicker site has alot of pictures of ticked tabbies and she is also all over my facebook page as I own one that I got from the shelter when I started. I figure she is most likely an aby mix but who knows, really,it is just a guess. They are truly stunning and I prefer them to their purebreed counterparts. I also have a picture that was literally taken from my own cats coat and blown up to zoom in on the coloring.
