She is still overly predatory after losing her leg- and her attacks of aggression are accelerating. They will be lying together and all of a sudden wink is screaming because Tazzy nailed her. I don't know if maybe wink puts pressure on some nerve endings that are now so unprotected or what?
People with amputations will sometimes have something called phantom limb pain. It is more common if there was pain in the limb before amputation. It is also worse if the immediate post op pain is not well controlled. I think that massage helps people and also amitriptyline (Elavil) helps. They use it in cats for some behavior problems, you might consider it as a dual treatment for Tazzy, since you can't really tell if her behavior is related to pain or not. Becky
