I've been mostly lurking for the past week or two...very busy, very crazy. My mother has shingles (it broke out on her face, of all things - very painful), and both of the dogs have been *extremely* ill with some mystery stomach bug (or possibly something they ate)...bloody vomit and diarrhea (they've been doing better the past day or so, but Nika spent 36 hours "in the hospital" because it hit her especially hard).
Jack and Sophie-Ann, as usual, are our little lifesavers, providing those much-needed laughs or sweet moments just when we need them.
Let's call this one "Why I can't play computer games."
Jack does his impression of folded laundry; he spent the better part of an hour rolling around on my clean clothes and chasing his tail.
Sophie twisting herself into a pretzel and somehow managing to make it look comfy. For the record, that's my mother's Baker's Rack she's sleeping on. It used to contain all my mother's treasured decorations...now it is one of the favorite sleeping spots for the most treasured decoration of all!
These were the ones that REALLY killed me. I was sitting @ my desk doing some online banking, and turned around to check on them, and saw them like this. I should have turned the camera on myself - you guys would die laughing over my inept attempts at stealth as I tried to get close enough to take a picture without disturbing them.
I hated not being able to get their faces, but as you can see, I would've had to look through a wall to do that.
Why can't they ever cooperate when they do adorable things? Still, seeing their little heads together like that was enough to bring tears of cuteness overload to my eyes.
