That's TERRIBLE.. Maybe u can get stats on how neutering WORKS and bring this to ur government's attention? Here's some websites for this. There's also a section on how to work with government and convince them NOT to put cats to sleep.

I'm sure it helps..every single bit of it will help the cats population here. I'm now working closely with the cat organisation here to see in what way I can help. I'll keep you guys posted. In the meantime, do keep those letters going.

I sent an email to my family and friends and most have signed. HOWEVER....
My BELOVED
brother
who doesn't like cats replied to my email saying "Would you rather they all die from hunger or disease? It may be the best way to handle them." I am speechless- he knows how much I LOVE cats and I can't believe he'd say that to me. I haven't replied because I don't know what to say. In a way I understand what he means BUT what about all the ferals/strays that ARE taken care of by people??
We need to educate others, encourage others to get involved and we are doing our part..
