That is one. Happy. Cat. I'd love to buy Tosca a heated pad, but I have a feeling I'd have to buy two... one for her and one for my feet!

Abby looks so comfortable.
Is that a regular heating pad for humans or a pet pad? Do you worry that she might get a claw stuck in a wire & shock herself?
I would like to try one for Dexter & Sadie if it's safe.

Thanks everyone! Yesterday she was in that position again all day!
She doesn't like all the cleaning and cooking and furniture rearranging going on this morning, so she has retreated to the basement. I'm going to put one of the pads down there for her.
They are specifically made for pets. They both used to be Mollys and I never had a problem with her or Abby using them. The heating element is wrapped in a vinyl, then has a thin layer of foam around it, then the thick fleece layer. I always kept Molly's nails short, and clip Abby's when she allows it.Originally Posted by xocats
