Awww ... I still cry sometimes when I look at kitten pictures of my cats.
There is hope. My Isaac went through a phase like that. All he wanted to do was play, sometimes with me but mostly with his brothers. He doesn't come to me as much as when he was little, but somewhere between 2 and 2-1/2 he started wanting to lay in bed with me every night and at least every other day he has to knead and drool on my arm. So don't give up he may end up wanting your attention more as he gets a little older.
