Theodore watching the Turkeys

The turkeys come into my yard almost every day and sometimes more than once. They like the black oil sunflower seeds I put out for birds and squirrels. Today he saw them outside my window for the first time. He was mesmerized! There are 23 hens and about 8 males that come. If they see me at all, they are outta here! But, it looks like he doesn't bother them.

I'm always amazed at the animals that show up in gardens etc. in other countries.

I thought of you this morning, mightyboosh , when three large turkeys trotted by the window. This afternoon, it was a duck couple. And both times, I tried to get the girls' attention. "Look! Look, girls! Turkeys (or ducks)! See the turkeys (ducks)?" and I pointed. And you know exactly what they did: Stared at my pointing finger and then at me. Theo is a bit more on the ball than my crew.
