Yup. I mean...I've had acne of some sort since I was 9 (I'm 32 now), but last year I finally started getting regular facials/treatments. I was just starting to get ahead and could see my skin actually improving...then COVID hit and I'm wearing a mask 13+ hours a day...The worst is right above and below where the mask sits against the skin. We use disposable masks here, so I wear a new one everyday but ugh...this summer was ROUGH. Now that the humidity has gone away, my skin is calming down a bit. I also haven't been wearing make up the past 9ish months. I'm planning to get a special treatment over Christmas break. It would be nice to come out from under the mask next year (hopefully) with a totally new face hahaIs anyone else suffering from quarantine acne?
Until then, I do sort of enjoy masking my weakish chin and acne scars around my mouth and jaw under the mask. I feel like I'm one of those people who got hotter.
Underneath this mask is..chaos
