^ I watch TV a little, but when I do it's usually catching up on some of my favorite shows, Big Bang Theory, My Cat from Hell, NCIS (all shows), Criminal Minds, Leverage (just started watching this one), just to name a few

> Fighting mouth pain. Had a tooth removed Friday and it's still sore from clenching my teeth at night.

v What's the most recent medical procedure you've had done?

^ Most recent was getting a crown and a filling on my teeth.

> I'm enjoying our nice weather in Arizona. Temps are in the low 80s.

v What months of the year have best weather for being outside, where you live?

^ April/May and September/October. I really dislike the heat

> I have to bring my mother to the eye doctor today

v When was the last time you went to the eye doctor?

^  At least three years ago, and I really need new glasses

> Chula and Paul's vest/harness arrived today so hopefully they'll soon get to go out for walks.

v  Do you walk your cats?

^ No, I don't but the way she loves to be outside I think she'd love it.

> Got a manicure today. I really needed it. Think it's been 2 months since the last one.

v Any advice on stopping my cat from scratching on bedroom door to wake me up? She has food and water, so I think she wants to avoid using the doggie door and have me open the patio door for her.

^  Try putting strips of double sided sticky tape on it or taping some aluminum foil on it.  Most cats hate the feel of these.

>  When I moved into an apartment, I had to give up my piano.  Over the years, I've lost or given up so many treasured items.

v  What is something you no longer have, that you wish you still did?

^ Sigh...the feel of my wife's hand in mine...sorry, didn't mean to make this a "downer". It's just been one of those days. I miss her smile.

> The weather outside is frightful, but I have no fire to make it delightful...only a cabin heater...and two lap-warmers that purr. This helps my mood quite a bit.

v How have your fur-babies helped you in your darkest times?

^ Abby used to keep me company when I couldn't sleep after my father died.

V When was the last time you bought a new item of clothing?

^ About 3 months ago I bought a jacket and pants through mail order.

> I bought a Brew Station coffee maker. I like the idea of no glass pot and coffee is dispensed when you push your cup against the bar under the tank that holds the brewed coffee.

v Are you going to do something this summer that you haven't done before?

^ I'm not sure what I'll be doing this summer yet as I might have to move so can't make any plans.

>  I bought a toaster on-line and it lasted less than two months.

v  What has been your most discouraging on-line purchase?

^ It's a toss up between the flannel sheets that were as smooth and stiff as paper, and the jacket that had a pocket with an open seam inside. I returned them for a refund.

>  Tomorrow I'm going with my sweetheart to look for a Rush cd he's been wanting. He's also getting a lawn chair for the outdoor concert we're going to on Sunday.

v When you're in bed, does your cat get on you and stare you in the face until you wake up and acknowledge her?

^ We've been putting the gate up lately because she has been extra annoying lately and not letting us sleep at all. When she is allowed in our room yes, she does this.

V Any plans today?

^ buying my beloved petunias at the local greenhouse as they sent me a coupon-so will oh and aww among all their beautiful expensive plants-Love buying the years flowers-means no more snow!

> I dislike weeding but find it rewarding in a way-wish there was some way to lean down and pull weeds without putting pressure on my knees-I miss those old computer chairs that you used to kneel on-not sure if anyone remembers those

V What item that used to be common from the past do you wish was still available?

^ Kodachrome 35 mm slide processing.  The last lab that processed it in the US went out of business years ago, leaving me with rolls of undeveloped slide film containing photos of trips and kids growing up.

>  Chula and Paul have been extra bored this last week.

v  What do your cat(s) do when they're bored?

^ they make messes and chase each other. They jump up on us begging for treats. Or to be let out.

^ An outdoor concert at one of our local parks.

> Will be going to a Beatles' tribute concert this month at the same place

v Has it started getting hot where you live?

^ It was real hot when we were away on vacation, but has cooled back down. It's suppsoed to get hotter next week though.

> I really need to get dressed and get going!
