^ My grandparents were born here, but their parents were immigrants from Wales and Scotland.

v What is your favorite memory of your grandparent ( s )?

^ My grandparents always made a very fun easter egg hunt for my siblings and cousin and I, and we would play croquet afterwards. Also they had some great bird feeders, and I was very into birds at the time. My grandmother is still living in that house.

v Do you like any music that's completely different from your normal tastes?

^ Yes, I love classical (Mozart, Bach) although I am a class rock kinda person

^ Yep! I can play the clarinet & flute. I want to learn to play the piano at some point

^ A dog.  My parents raised collies (smooth-coated kind, like Lassie).  One became mine and lived 21 years.

^No, I never travel.

^ I've visited 12 states, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, W. Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Kansas, Oklahoma, California, and Hawaii. Lived in 2 others.

v Did you ever have an unusual pet?

^ The only "unusual" pet I've ever had was a ferret.  Got along great with my cat at the time.  Very stinky though.

v What is the most "unusual" food (outside your comfort zone) you have ever tried?

^ I'd have to say Vegemite. I didn't hate it. It's one of those foods (at least I think it is) that is an acquired taste so you'd need to start with a very small amount and work your way up. Those Youtubers who will eat a spoonful of it and then holler about how bad it is are idiots. That's not how you eat it. I tried it on a bagel with cream cheese, sliced red onion and sliced tomato. it was pretty nice actually but you really need to like salty,savory foods. 

> The cats forgave me for making them stay in their playpen while we were holed up in a hotel in Downtown Orlando. I was so afraid that they would bolt out the door and get lost when we had to open the door to take the dog out. I got them some Boar's Head low sodium chicken breast when we got back for treats. They loved it. 

v Do you shop at store like Bath & Body Works for good smelling things?

^ All my "extra" money goes to my animals so I don't often get the chance to buy good smelling things.[emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128546[/emoji] Just regular old soap for me.

v What is a food that you love to eat but is difficult to find?

^ Old style, baked crust cheesecake from St. Louis, sprinkled with cinnamon.  I have a recipe but can NOT get it like I used to get in St. Louis (my dad was from there, and that cheesecake was the highlight of my visits), and the last time I was there, I couldn't find that same exact kind anymore in any bakery I visited

>  I'm debating already on what to cook/not cook over the holidays.  We always have too much and I should cut out some of the work.

v  Do you have to cook for people over the holidays? Or do you eat elsewhere?

^Broke my wrist yesterday so won't be cooking for anyone.
