My sister is going to name the kitten Ramses.
I think she is going to register him as Ramses the Great and use King Ramses in case the name is taken.
I will let her use my egyptian theme at some of the shows.
His first show out here should be May 29th or June 12th in Arcadia.
Now I need to come up with sphynx names.

Congrats! I am glad for your sister, I know it's been a long road.

I need a whole whack of names for my upcoming babies too. I don't like saying "the one with the spot" that kind of thing. They deserve names just like kids. I will wait to see them though, naming them is hard when you can't see the pesonality. Hubby has aleady demanded that a boy HAS to be named Bert. I have no idea why?!?!

Ask him why.
Are you keeping them all?
If not the names might be changed by the new owner.
When my bombay/burmese had kittens in 1979 I named them Charcoal,Patches,Mittens and Smokey.
Sadly Smokey died at 2 weeks and Mittens at 6 weeks.
I was only a kid and I tried so hard to save them.
Patches I kept.
She is the one I wrote the poem about.
We named them by what they looked like.

Oh Jacky, there is no way even if I WANTED to keep them all, I'd probably end up divorced LOL. I have 8 cats already so no, none are staying. I know new owners will most likely change the names, but I need to call them something other than "that one". I know I would love a calico sphynx, but I have ample opportunity to convince hubby in the future. After he sees them the first time around, I know he'll be hooked.

He really does love having the babies around, always making a point of visiting them before work, at lunchtime, and right when he comes home and then we spend alot of time together playing and visiting them for the rest of the evening.

I'll be doing so much visiting up there, I don't know who is gonna cook suppers LOL

I hope the people that buy your kittens will send you pictures in the future.
Janice Wrinkles breeder loves getting pictures and updates on Wrinkles.
She is going to put some pictures of Wrinkles taken by Chanan on her gallery.
When is the due date again?

I have always liked that name.
I bet he will know his name very well when my sister gets him.

Jacky, Molly is due on March 2nd, only 19 more days!! I am taking her in to have an xray next week to see how many are possible. I am also taking Monty the same day so we can get their blood types. If they are incompatible, I will need to know that BEFORE the kittens are born. I am hopeful that they are the same type, and all will be just fine. I always wanted to blood type them, just never really got around to it prior to this. At least it's getting done

Hubby is repainting the cat room this weekend. Right now it's pink and purple and I despise pink. He is making it neutral and then I am moving the furniture around. Have the nest made, the room will be ready, got all my supplies ready to go, just need the kittens

Susan,
Beware sometimes the ultrasound does not show all teh kittens.
Coco had one and it showed 3 kittens but there was 5.
Sadly the last 2 were dead and born over 12 hours later.
I would love to see pics of the kittens when they are born.

Jacky, she is not having an ultrasound, but an xray that will show the calcified skeletons. I know some may be hidden behind another but a general count would be nice.

Oh don't you worry about pics, I'll have them plastered here and on Facebook. I am so excited. She is getting bigger by the day, but not overly humungus. I am waiting now for the 7-9 week growth that will be quite significant. I love how she looks, and she's very content with her new body LOL. It won't be too long now, just have to try to relax a bit more. I'm falling behind in my housework LOL. But now we have a long weekend, hubby is off for 4 days and we're sure to get all caught up
