They proved that myth and they also found out that the best place to keep your toothbrush from getting germy (after trying all sorts of things) was an empty Listerine bottle tightly capped.

I'm not particularly squeamish, and I usually have the devil of a time trying to get myself to change habits, but when I heard that (and that it was real), I immediately started shutting the lid of the toilet before flushing. I also keep my toothbrush in a drawer.
