My pawsitiveness for today is that Amazon is almost as good as it claims it is. Last afternoon, my mobile phone died. I bought a new one through Amazon a few hours later (after doing everything I could think about to resurrect it). The new phone was here today at 13:20!

@alicia88 - have you tried a trackball for gaming? I loved my Logitech -- really comfortable in the hand, felt like an extension of my hand as a matter of fact. I've never really used a laptop as I just don't like them, but since you are having those issues with the touchpad, thought you might want to look into that.
donnae -- Beautiful pic of your little man. May that sun strengthen and comfort him after his ordeal!
FRIDAY -- just that word is so PAWsitive! -- and my black-and-gold laptop is warming us both. Very excited that we're so close to reaching our goal!

The kittens and I are having another lazy day, which is really nice. I curled up on the couch by the fire with a blanket, and good book, and some tea. I didn’t think it could get any better than that... but then the kittens crawled into my lap to cuddle.

I’ve spent this last week relaxing before I have to spend next week studying. It’s been great to just have a week off.

It's snowing! Tomorrow is Saturday, so most people don't have to worry about getting to work or school in it.

I’m feeling pawsitive that the kittens like their new bed. They couldn’t fit in the old one together, so I got another one for them each to have their own. They immediately crawled into it together and took a nap.

I was supposed to go out to the grocery store to get some food for breakfasts, but I just checked and have all the ingredients for pancakes, so may be able to avoid the store for another day!

A wonderful day here! Cold -4 and baked bread that came out much better than last one. I now know what the dough is supposed to feel like...french bread is delish! 3 loafs baked 1 gonzo already. Other half of dough in refrigerator..

AmyTheKittyMommy - you've just described pure, absolute, unadulterated bliss!
*Lunch time for cats!* and for me as well. They'll be having "murghi surprise" (chicken, in some form or another) and I'll be enjoying my daily pita with hummus, Moroccan olives, a tangerine, and some coffee. Yum!

Lunch was baked bread with butter...boring but oh so delish. The house smells like a bakery. Honeybee went outside for 3 minutes again!! She came running back inside like a good girl!!

tarasgirl06 That sounds amazing! I think good food and good friends (or, you know, cats) makes the best combination. Speaking of food, I’m excited to finish up the leftovers from Christmas... ham, casserole, sweet potatoes... all the good stuff!

A great start to a great day! I love having a day off to reflect and tidy up after the holidays! Lucy cuddled me all morning, making biscuits.

Yes, I think I am going to be busy eating with DH when the #2000th post comes in! We'll have elbow pasta with marinara sauce, topped with cheese, which is always a cozy favorite to eat. It's almost ready!

We are still eating the meatloaf i made earlier this week. I have frozen small servings. And ate a big dish of green bean casserole. Delish! I don't mind cooking if it comes out decent!

I can’t belive we’ve done it! We’ve helped so many cats and spread pawsitivity along the way! I think this is the most wonderful idea, to raise money and spread joy simultaneously. Way to go everyone!
