The door

I've shown pictures of Sundar's door opening attempts from inside.. Here he is from the outside. 

It's locked and he just can't get his head around it:

Cats are very smart; it doesn't take them long to catch onto how something works.

At least yours knows the handle had something to do with opening the door.

Mine starts whining if the door doesn't open bigger than a crack.

Does the door open in? So when it's not locked and he pulls down on the latch he then pulls the door towards himself to go out?
