About a week ago, I was getting ready to go to bed. I went outside and called my cat "Bolitas". He didn't come, so I went to the cupboard and got his treats. I shook his treats and he came running in.
I bent down to drop a treat on the floor, and to my HORROR, saw that Bolitas had a LIVE bat in his mouth!!!!! I screamed and my husband came running into the kitchen as I was running out.
Of course, Bolitas followed me into the living room. I had to think fast before he let the bat out of his mouth. There was a basket of laundry just to the right of me, so I grabbed the first thing that I got my hands on (a sheet), and threw it over the cat.
Luckily, he backed out from under the sheet, and did not have the bat in his mouth anymore. So, my husband grabbed a shoe box and somehow got the bat into it and released it outside. It really was a LLLLLOOOOOOOTTTTT more stressfull than it sounds
I have heard of cats bringing mice and birds into the house, but a BAT??
I don't think that I will ever fully get over it
