Hi there! I stumbled across this site in hopes to get some help with one of my kitties. In the meantime, I'll go ahead and introduce them. When I got married just over 10 years ago, I moved over 1600 miles away from my family and really needed a buddy. My husband was gone doing training a lot and I got pretty lonely. I found a handsome little tabby hanging out in a hammock at the pet store (a shelter cat they were trying to get adopted out). I took one look at him and knew he was for me. A year later I had started working and going to school and felt like Peanut was getting lonely. So I spent a few weeks searching and finally decided on a buddy for him. A sweet orange boy reached reached out to touch me as I walked by his crate and I was done for Oakley and Peanut made the cross country move with us from California to Florida and have been such good sports about being apart of a crazy military family. In 2012 a kitten found his way into my neighborhood. I took him in expecting to find him a home but he had other plans Our precious Rudy boy was like no other. He seemed to never forget that I had saved his life and was the most loving cat I have ever known. My heart broke to pieces when he suddenly died of a blood clot to the lungs just a year after he found us. We all had such a hard time dealing with his death and our oldest cat missed his play buddy. So off we went to the shelter and our sweet Cody boy joined the zoo. In total we have our 3 kitties, 2 pups and 2 kids. so when I say zoo, I mean it Anyway, looking forward to meeting fellow cat lovers and getting some advice.

Oakley, Peanut and Cody. Oak is a little (ha) on the heavy side. We've tried to put him on a diet but his bladder stones return when he loses his weight. Double edge sword
My sweet Rudy - 1 yr - RIP
