Bradley went to Sea School in April and took & passed the captain's test. He got a certificate at that time, but it was not official until he received his actual captain's license. Well, THAT got held up in Washington D.C. because he has Type 1 Diabetes and it had to go before some medical board. Well, after waiting FAR too long, we called our local Congressman (who is fabulous!) and he got on the horn.
And today, ladies and gents, I am proud to announce that Bradley's captain's license has officially arrived! No more working as a mate on the boats- he's taking out trips of his own now! Woo hoo!
We're so excited!
I guess now that he's Captain Stewart, does that make me Tenille?
