I am afraid to be in the hospital because Coco needs meds everyday and my husband can not do it.
My dad and sister both had gall bladder surgery.

well, for mine, i wasn't 'in' the hospital. i went in that morning & was home before 4pm that day [laparoscopic procedure]. was kinda 'tired' for about 2 weeks, but that was about it - no side effects at all.Originally Posted by mews2much

Strange that it was so low. My attacks where always higher up. You know the three incisions that go at an angle on right. The pain from my gallbladder was always under what is now the middle incision- right at the edge of the ribcage.Originally Posted by Forensic
Be forwarned, if you are having an attack and they push on the bladder it will NOT feel nice.
Sorry, I meant gall bladder, not just bladderOriginally Posted by strange_wings

Here gallbladder surgery is almost a day procedure. In one day and out the next morning. And they do it laproscopically now instead of making an actual incision. You just have 3 little puncture woulds.Originally Posted by mews2much

Since you mentioned problems with your period and bad cramping, it could very well be something else.Originally Posted by mews2much
Do you all think that is what the problem is?
