I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for being so supportive over the past 24 hours.
When I stumbled across this site I was frantically looking for advice regarding constipated kittens. I had no idea that within minutes I would receive not just wonderful advice but true concern and support from total strangers!
The babies are doing really well. I took them to a girlfriends tonight hoping that the stray queen she has been befriending may 'adopt' the kittens. Unfortunately she did not. Coco is still incredibly nervous and although she watched the babies intently she was too flighty to really get close to them. I guess this means I won't be getting much sleep over the next few weeks!!
Honestly, I really don't mind. On the way to see Coco we stopped at McDonalds (of all places) as my god daughter who came with us for the drive had not eaten. Whilst we were waiting in the drive through I absent mindedly started stroking the top of the kitten bed. My friend (and taxi driver) Kelly looked at me in her all knowing way and I burst into tears. Later after Coco had ran for the hills, I commented on taking the kittens home and quietly looked at Kell with a huge grin on my face! She couldn't help but laugh, loudly! She knows what a hopeless sook I am when it comes to my babies.
Needless to say I will most probably be spending a lot of time on The Cat Site from now on. As I write this I can hear a couple of little voices crying for food, I had better go and prepare the main course.
Thank you again to everyone for your friendship and support, it has meant the world to me and to the babies.
