Hi!
I'm not a vet, but in my opinion the bottom line is that unless a person is feeding a carefully managed raw diet that may include raw chicken wings et al, there aren't any commercial cat foods that will help to clean cats' teeth.
Brushing is a really good thing, but still doesn't take the place of vet visits that include dental checkups.
I brush my cat’s teeth eat evening then apply Healthy Mouth gel to his teeth. I don’t think ground food, canned food or dry food do much for cleaning teeth. Chucks of raw muscle meat or small raw bone can help clean teeth.
Definitely brush your cat’s teeth on a daily basis. It is good preventative care that may prevent your cat from needing expensive dental surgeries in the future.
