Well here is lexx's official Case file at special needs dobermans. This is a great website where people can donate money to the vet(in this case neurologist) that will pay for all the follow up, or refund the credit card that paid.....

Since the surgery there has been good and bad days....... He seems to have bad throat irritation from the intubation, which has cause coughing/gagging/gas/grass eating, leading to sickness and throwing up, which has led to more vet appointments and x-rays (fear of bloat). On top of that he smashed his incisions open on the top of his crate and opened the incision. The normal vets wouldn't treat him so she had to go back to the specialist to get it treated. She has now spent $11000...... on the dogs health. She has had to watch him 24/7 since the surgery so has been working very minimally on top of this. Just wow. I honestly don't know how she is getting through this, as like myself she is a PhD student, and we don't exactly make the best salary. Now that's love...........

More healing vibes?
