Here's the link to the original thread: http://www.thecatsite.com/forums/showthread.php?t=96309
I just heard back from the organization, and they've processed my application, called my vet and I quote: "everything is a go."
I've just left a phone message for Ferris' foster mom, and left her all the numbers she can reach me at so I can make an appointment with her to go meet the little guy!
Oh boy, oh boy, I'm so happy!
Of course, nothing is concrete yet, and I'm sure that foster mom has final say, but at least I've gotten this far!!!!
I ask again, as I haven't heard from any foster moms, how does this process of adopting a cat out of foster care normally work? Are the adoption fees paid to the organization or to the foster directly? If need be, I'll start a new thread with those questions unless any of you can give me some info.
Thank you ALL for the TCS vibes! So far, so good! Please keep 'em coming until I get final word that Ferris can come and live with Ginger and me!!!!
