Under the cats, mostly.

This isn't limited to US facilities - as long as they can accept PayPal. (Does Kattens Værn have a PayPal account?) It's just so easy to set it up that way so no one on our end has to deal with tonnes of checks or money orders, etc.
I'll have to ask Tine about that, but I believe they do, yes
Thanks for at least putting us on the list - that means a lot. Whoever gets the money though, is definitely going to be copping for something wonderful!
Go guys!

Emma, I found their website, but not a bit of it made any sense to me. LOL But there are some really cute kitties on the site.

So far, here are the organizations that have websites that accept PayPal that have been nominated:

LA/SPCA (NOLA). http://www.la-spca.org/forms/donations.htm Does accept PayPal Donations

Humane Society of Southern Mississippi (Gulfport, MS) http://www.hssm.org/about/ Does accept PayPal Donations

Kattens Værn http://www.kattens-vaern.dk/ (will need info from Emma – thinks they accept PayPal.)

Tree House Animal Foundation (Chicago, IL): http://www.treehouseanimals.org/ Does accept PayPal Donations

Please keep the nominations coming!!

I voted "keep 'em all in the running". At this point, I'm still leaning toward Gulf coast, but I want to remain open to other possibilities in case we become aware of something even more compelling. In the end, I'll be content with whatever we decide, because the one thing I DO know is that it will be a worthy recipient.

I would love to help in any way possible.

I have lots of easy receipes.

I will buy a cookbook of two.

I am also willing to help organize, edit, ship, etc. Whatever is needed, let me know. I have gotten so much from this site. I would love to be able to give something back

Bumpity bump bump!
Anyone else work with a non-profit, Paypal accepting rescue/welfare org? This could be worth big bucks in donations to them!

LAST CALL!

If you know of or work with a good cat welfare and/or rescue group that accepts PayPal for donations, we want to include them in the selection! This could be a good fundraiser for your group, and 100% of the donations (i.e. the donations are all made DIRECTLY to the org with no middle-man) go toward helping the cats.

We will move to phase 2 of the selection process will begin on March 16 (Thursday).
