This isn't limited to US facilities - as long as they can accept PayPal. (Does Kattens Værn have a PayPal account?) It's just so easy to set it up that way so no one on our end has to deal with tonnes of checks or money orders, etc.

I voted "keep 'em all in the running". At this point, I'm still leaning toward Gulf coast, but I want to remain open to other possibilities in case we become aware of something even more compelling. In the end, I'll be content with whatever we decide, because the one thing I DO know is that it will be a worthy recipient.

If you know of or work with a good cat welfare and/or rescue group that accepts PayPal for donations, we want to include them in the selection! This could be a good fundraiser for your group, and 100% of the donations (i.e. the donations are all made DIRECTLY to the org with no middle-man) go toward helping the cats.

We will move to phase 2 of the selection process will begin on March 16 (Thursday).
