I found a cat almost two month ago, and I took her to the vet and done the deworming and flea treatment on her. I keep her indoor all the time, but a few weeks ago, I found the white sesame like thing on her bed, and I just figure it out that's the sign of having tapeworm I know the cat only gets tapeworm from swallowing flea. But when I was doing all the cleanings (vacuuming and washing beddings...etc ), I coculdn't find any sign of flea in the house. I looked closely to the her favorite spots, I only found the tapeworm's segments but not the flea or its dropping. I have another cat at home, and I didn't find any flea or tapeworm segments on her body or her bed or my bed ( she sleeps on my bed sometimes). Someone online said it took 2-3 month for a tapeworm grows inside the cat, if that's true, then is it possible that the first deworming didn't turn out so well? (vet gave the cat one dosage of Profender and one treatment on flea control .) Anyone has same experience on your pets?
