tape worm

my cat Blue recently got tapeworm, and i was wondering what i need to do in order to keep my house clean so that none of the worms stay in the house? which cleaners are safe to use? thank you so much!

p.s. Blue was medicated for tapeworm this morning.

Scrub out your litterpans with hot soapy water with a bit of bleach in them, and vaccum and you should be fine. Was your cat flea treated as well?

Well tapeworms need fleas as an intermediary host. So flea treatment is the easiest way to keep them from coming back. Frontline, some vaccuming, and a flea bomb should do it.

Ick. tapeworms really are foul though.
