There were parts of Talladega Nights that were funny, but I think part of why it was funny in parts wasn't because of the acting. Some of the parts were practically based on real incidents from the track of yester-year, and not so yester-year. Those parts were funny. Overall, it's a dumb movie and it's another Will Farrell movie which I generally won't watch to save my life. It's definitely not one I would recommend, but we had to watch it (on cable) because we're NASCAR fans.
