Can you just confine the cat to one room for 2 hours or so and then quickly put her into the carrier to go to the vet? Your cat may still end up peeing in the carrier out of stress

Yes.  He is sleeping on the floor next to me now.  I would rather not lock him in a Carrier, but just lock up the room he uses for the bathroom.  I don't want him to see the carrier as a prison.  Did you know my friend has a cat that when scared or intimidated, he runs into his carrier for safety.  Never saw that before.  He sleeps in it as well.

I am frustrated as I did all I can to give him the right foods, the fountain for water, and no treats, doctor's orders.  He is such a little cat.   So sweet.  He lays on top of my pillow at night and I have to move his body around so I can get my head on the pillow now.  He does not jump off or get up.  Acts like a toy cat as I move him around.  More like a rag doll cat.  Limp when I put him down anywhere, he lays down does not jump up on stand when I carry him to another place.

I was cleaning his room and he was in his cat box.  I moved around the box to clean and he never got up.  Just went with the flow.  Not a skittish cat at all.  I  have had him almost 2 months and from the first day he acted as if I raised him.

Love him so much.

I just took this as I am responding to you.

Hi everyone.  Just came home.  Vet took a urine sample from Sushi's bladder, that was so stressful more for me.  The vet is having it analyzed.  She said the sample looked clear meaning his kidneys seem to be functioning very well.  I am paying for her to have a consultation with a cat kidney expert as Sushi's kidneys are smaller than they should be.  I want his opinion as well.

She said honestly, just give him a good life that is all you can do.  So I will feed  him as usual and keep him on renal for his kidneys.  And of course, say a prayer for  him every day that God will have mercy on this little boy and keep him healthy.

Love to all

Great News.  The test results came back and his kidneys are fully functioning!  The tests showed very good results.  No need for a specialist at this time.  So happy!
