I have a 4 month old female kitten who overall seems to be well. When I first got her she brought panleuk home from her mother. She totaly recovered but ever since she has had swollen glands. I also noticed her having worse breath than my other cat and I know that is a sign of infection. Let me know if you have any ideas.
The swollen glands are usually the kitten's body's way of fighting off an infection. It would be a wise thing to take this kitten to a vet and get a blood panel drawn, especially if the kitten also has sour mouth.
Poor kitty, I hope she feels better. If there is nothing acutely wrong with her at the vets, some herbal remedies might help with the swelling and to get her immune system back in tune. Good luck.
