While researching the use of calendula oil/tincture for relief of sneezing and nasal discharge for my kitty today, I read that you can also use calendula to help cure feline acne. You might give it a try!

Then from this site: http://www.animalrightsblog.com/2008...-treat-cancer/

Examine the outside of your petsâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji] mouth first. The base of the chin can become infected in cats with a condition called feline acne.

One effective treatment for this is topical Calendula. The lips should appear smooth and have no signs of inflammation.

My cat Earl gets bad acne, especially one particular place. The vet poked it a few months ago, but now it's super huge and so I took him in for antibiotics and she now is saying suddenly it's a tumor of some type, she also removed his teeth a year ago and didn't x-ray afterward. So while he is out in surgery she wants to do dental x-rays, in case she left a root in. I'm so worried, but his chin is about five times bigger than Jordan's. :(  You can see pictures on Earl's facebook page, it's Pray for Earl. Hope your cat is okay, I go for a second opinion on Saturday with his first original vet when he was a kitten. Praying for your cat.

Our female gets a swollen chin from acne as well as from time to time her lips swell up due to allergies.
