Hello, T takasora ! Your poor kitty Alpha!
Has he been able to eat regularly?
:hugs:

I noticed your other thread from this summer,
Cat Lip Redness

Were you able to go to the vet back then, in July, and get some help? Perhaps this chin redness and swelling is related and you can check in with your vet once again!

It definitely looks uncomfortable for Alpha!

It could be any number of things. An abcess is the most likely (but far from only) culprit. I'd take him in sooner rather than later, since almost ALL swellings in man or beast are a result of infection, so the sooner treated, the sooner mended. Let us know how he is doing!

I brought him to the vet and was given steroids. And then he recovered from the rodent ulcer.

Thanks everyone. I will bring him in ASAP.

Be sure and let us know what the vet says, and how he's doing! Once you've posted at TCS, your cat becomes, in some small way, "our cat" as well, and we fret!
