Many, many ! I just saw this and thought I would chime in. I don't know what kind of heart surgery you had, but I can say in my experience, if you are out of the ICU and walking already, you are determined and that is half the battle! My patient's that don't want to try are the one's that take forever to heal and are in the hospital longer. Good luck and a speedy recovery!
My patients don't have a choice. Well they do, but it's walk now or walk in 5 minutes. Either way they are going to walk, hehe
