Holy cow, how did I miss all this? I'm so glad it's turned out well! Good for you for trusting your instincts.

I think you've helped us all, too. I just gathered a few of my own hair elastics from my desk, where my kittens are beginning to go, and I've put them safely out of reach. Never thought about them before in this light.

Keep us posted, and please show us a photo of Lois sometime!
