Like Cirque I use the quick reply alot - I do because my old computer is soooooo slow that it takes about a minute for a regular reply page to load. that's a lot of thumb-twiddling...

Okay, now I know I have 24 hours to edit.

All members now have the ability to edit their own posts. However, there is a 1-day time limit set on the function. This will allow you to make the necessary spelling corrections or add a thought you forgot. After one day, though, a mod will have to edit the post. I think this gives everyone a fair shot to edit a post, yet prevents people from changing the content of a thread after time.
