Hi there. A little while ago I posted about my cat Mama, and her insistence on messing on the bathroom floor even though she had access to 2 litter trays in the house. She had no problem with the trays, but the bathroom floor was her 'first choice' when she needed to go, for some reason. I didn't know what to do other than keep the bathroom door shut so she couldn't get in there, but my housemates kept forgetting and leaving the door open so even that was a poor solution. A workmate suggested thoroughly cleaning the areas the cat was messing in and then rubbing the areas with white vinegar. I did this, and she hasn't messed in there since! We've been leaving the bathroom door wide open and she's barely even stepped in there, let alone messed in there. She's only going in the litter trays now! Sorry if this is in the wrong place! I'm just so relieved to have found such a simple solution, and wanted to share this with all of you in case it can help anyone else, too!
